I'm
the mother of 3 boys, two are school age, and the youngest,
now 4 years old has Type 1 Diabetes. Following Aidan's diagnosis
at 2 1/2 years, we quickly discovered that giving insulin
injections was really tough when you couldn't easily get to
skin you needed. It was tough wrestling with clothing, getting
things ready, testing blood sugar, drawing up insulin, and
of course, actually injecting an often moving target. This
process proved to be especially traumatic at night, when Aidan
would be sleeping, and the whole thing ended up waking him
up, unhappy as you can imagine.
What I've since developed
and patented to make this problem a little less traumatic and
definitely smoother, is a COLLECTION OF ACTIVE WEAR AND PAJAMAS
with specially designed openings (arms
& thighs) to give quick, easy access to key injection zones
